Rocks and The Stone Age!

This week in History we went on a hunt around our outdoor space for clues on the three time periods in ‘The Stone Age’. These are Paeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic. We learnt lots about how they lived and how each time period differed. We also put key dates in chronological order to create a timeline dating from 13000BC to AD43

In Science we looked at the properties of rocks and learnt some new scientific vocabulary!

We also used our beautiful school grounds in R.E to find natural creations that make us go WOW!

In Art we started to sketch caves which we will be finishing off next week.

In T4W we imitated ‘The Egg’ by MP Robertson. Watch the video below of our oral retell.

Well done to my learner of the week this week, Logan, for using incredible listening skills, modelling the correct behaviour for others to imitate and forming lovely relationships with both staff and pupils. What a fantastic role model to have!

Our TT Rockstars this week was Erin, Lily and Hawa for completing the most sessions. Well done girls!
