We will remember them

This week 3L commemorated Remembrance Day by creating a class wreath which we held during our 2 minute silence.

In Maths, we used practical resources to add and subtract 2 digit to 3 digit numbers when crossing tens.

We imitated our text ‘The Canal’ in Talk 4 Writing and completed some short burst writing linking to our targets.

On Friday we dressed up as Rockstar’s to end the TTRS competition week. Well done Year 3 I was really impressed with the amount of sessions completed this week!

My learner of the week this week is Laila for a significant improvement in her punctuality since coming back after half term. Not only is she coming into school on time, Laila is taking ownership of her learning by reading at home and remembering to bring her book into school every day. She has been showing resilience in maths this week and being resourceful when adding and subtracting crossing tens. Well done Laila, keep up the good work!

Erin, Eseohe and Evelyn were our Lexia legends this week.

Rishi was our home reading champion this week and will be taking home our reading box.
