Did you know…?

This week in Talk 4 Writing we imitated our explanation text on plastic pollution, which you can watch us do below. We will be continuing to look at non fiction explanation texts and even write our own over the coming weeks.

In Art we looked at The Beaker People and sketched our own beakers noticing the detail and patterns in them from the Bronze Age.

In History we researched the last metal age, the Iron Age on our chrome books and recorded our findings in a spider diagram.

My learner of the week this week is Erin. Erin is an example of an always child in our class who follows the school rules and learning behaviours daily. She continuously shows empathy and kindness to her peers and will always put others before herself. This is not only recognised by myself and the class but other members of staff around school too! What lovely characteristics to have. Thank you for being a wonderful member of our class.

This week our Lexia Legends were Lily, Rishi, Sara and Elijah. Our TT Rockstar with the most sessions was Maryam and our home reading champion was Erin! Well done to you all.
